How the team is split

Pokokpedia is divided the way the games are. Poker has its own editor, blackjack and baccarat share one because they are both arithmetic problems dressed as card games, the Chinese card games that Malaysians grow up playing have their own, and one editor is responsible for everything that is not about how to play: the responsible-gambling material, the editorial standards, and the question of whether a page has quietly turned into encouragement.

The Chinese edition is not a translation of this one, and it is not written by the same line-up. Two of the editors below write it as well as this tree; the responsible-gambling, deposit and bonus pages in Chinese are written by an editor who works on that side of the site only, and her profile sits there, with the pages she is responsible for.

Nobody writes outside their section. If a poker page needs a probability checked, it goes to the editor who owns the maths rather than being worked out on the spot, and the two of them settle it before the page goes up.

What a byline means here

A byline on this site means one thing: that person decided what the page says, and will answer for it if it is wrong. It is not a claim to a qualification. There is no certificate in poker, no accreditation body for explaining baccarat, and we have never seen a gambling site's staff credentials survive being checked.

So the profiles below describe what each editor actually does for Pokokpedia and nothing else. No degrees, no awards, no former employers, no career length, no social accounts. What you can verify instead is the work: every profile lists the pages that editor is responsible for, and you can go and check whether the rules on them are right.

Corrections are welcome and they are the fastest way to improve a reference site. If a hand ranking, a drawing rule or a house-edge figure on any page is wrong, say so — the editor named at the top of that page is the one who will look at it.
