These terms

These terms govern your use of pokokpedia.com and the pages published on it. By using the site you accept them. If you do not, please stop using the site. There is nothing to cancel and no account to close.

The site is published by Pokok Games Ltd. ("we", "us", "Pokokpedia"), available on request at legal@pokokpedia.com. Effective date: 14 August 2026.

We do not offer gambling

This is the most important clause on the page. Pokokpedia is an information site. We do not operate, host, arrange, broker or accept gambling of any kind.

Specifically, on this site there is:

no way to place a bet or wager;
no real-money or virtual-money gaming software;
no user accounts, deposits, withdrawals or balances;
no payment processing of any kind;
no ability on our part to open, fund, credit, close or intervene in an account you hold with any operator we link to.

Some of our pages do carry paid links to gambling operators, which the next clause sets out in full. Those links take you off this site; they do not make us a party to anything that happens afterwards.

Explaining how a game is played is not an invitation to play it, and nothing on this site should be read as encouragement to gamble.

Affiliate links, and what they are not

Thirty-three pages on this site (in the bonus section, the online casino section and two poker pages) carry a numbered list of casino operators. Those links are commercial and these are their operative terms:

They are paid. If you follow one, open an account and deposit, the operator pays us a commission. You pay nothing extra, and we are paid whether you win or lose.
They carry tracking. Every such link has an identifier attached that tells the operator the signup came from this site. It identifies us to them; it does not follow you around the web.
They are marked. Each one is tagged rel="sponsored nofollow noopener" in the page source and sits inside a labelled list, never hidden in body text.
The order is commercial. It is set by our affiliate team, not by testing, scoring or editorial comparison. It is not a ranking and must not be read as one.
Nothing about them is verified by us. We have not tested these operators, we publish no bonus amounts, wagering requirements, minimum deposits or promotion codes, and we have not checked their licensing, their terms or whether using them is lawful where you are.

Following one of these links takes you to a company that has nothing to do with us. From the moment you arrive, that operator's own terms, privacy policy, bonus conditions, verification requirements and complaints process govern your relationship with it, and ours do not. We are not the operator, we are not its agent, and we cannot open, fund, close or intervene in an account for you, chase a withdrawal, honour a bonus, resolve a dispute or return money to you. Read that operator's terms on its own site before you deposit: they are the only version that binds anyone, and they change without telling us.

Being paid by an operator is not an endorsement of it, a warranty about it, or a representation that it is safe, solvent, licensed or fair. Our advertising disclosure sets out the whole arrangement, including what we have not checked.

You must be 18 or over

Pokokpedia is intended for adults aged 18 and over. By using the site you confirm that you are at least 18. Please do not use it if you are younger, and please do not share its content with anyone who is.

The law where you are is your responsibility

Gambling law differs sharply between countries and, within Malaysia, between states. In Malaysia the Common Gaming Houses Act 1953 and the Betting Act 1953 are the principal laws governing gaming and betting, online gambling is not a permitted activity for the general public, and gambling is additionally prohibited for Muslims under Sharia law, administered at state level.

We publish that as a statement of fact. We do not encourage anyone to gamble, to break any law or to work around any restriction. It is entirely your responsibility to know and follow the law that applies to you, and nothing on this site is legal advice or a substitute for it.

Information, not advice — and no guarantees

We write carefully. Rules, probabilities and payouts are researched, checked and stated together with the exact rule variant they belong to, and we correct errors when they are reported. Our editorial policy sets out how that works.

Even so, the content is provided for general information only, on an "as is" basis, and we make no warranty that it is complete, current or free of error. In particular:

House rules vary. Casinos, venues, apps and families all play with local variations. The rules at the table in front of you always take precedence over anything you read here.
Nothing here is financial, legal or professional advice.
No strategy on this site will make gambling profitable. Every casino game carries a permanent mathematical margin in favour of the house. Correct play reduces what you lose on average; it does not turn a losing proposition into a winning one. Anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something.

Using the site

You may read, print and share our pages for your own personal and non-commercial use, and link to them freely — we like being linked to.

Please do not:

republish substantial parts of the site elsewhere, in any language, without written permission;
scrape or bulk-download the site, or use it to train or populate another product, without written permission;
attempt to disrupt the site, probe it for vulnerabilities or gain unauthorised access to any part of it;
present our content as your own, or in a way that suggests we endorse you, your site or any gambling operator;
use the site for anything unlawful.

Reasonable quotation with clear attribution and a link back is welcome and needs no permission.

Intellectual property

The text, page structure, illustrations, logo and design of Pokokpedia belong to us or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright. The name Pokokpedia and the spade mark are ours.

The rules of card and table games are not, and cannot be, owned by anybody. They are common property, which is one reason an encyclopedia of them can exist at all. What is protected here is our particular way of explaining them. Third-party names, including those of games and companies, remain the property of their owners and are used descriptively only, without any claim of association or endorsement.

Links to other sites

Some pages link to outside resources, most importantly the support organisations listed on our responsible gambling page. Those sites are not under our control. We link to them because we believe they are useful, but we are not responsible for their content, their availability or their privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement of everything on the other end of it.

The outbound links to gambling operators are a separate case and are governed by the affiliate clause above: those are paid, they carry tracking, and the operator's own terms apply once you arrive. Neither kind of link puts the site on the other end under our control.

Availability and changes to the site

We do not promise the site will always be available. Pages may be updated, moved, rewritten or removed at any time, and we may change these terms. The version published on this page is the one that applies, and material changes will move the effective date above.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site. That includes gambling losses, which are yours alone. We do not take your money, we do not run your play, and we cannot control what you do with what you read here.

That applies equally to an operator you reached through one of our affiliate links. Being paid a commission by that operator does not make us a party to your account with it or liable for how it treats you, and it does not give us any power to act on your behalf. A complaint about an operator has to go to that operator and, where one exists, to its regulator.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

A condition of using this site

We ask one thing in return for free content: that you treat gambling as entertainment you pay for and never as a source of income, that you set limits before you start, and that you never gamble with money that is needed for something else or with money you have borrowed.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
